The best week so far in the carousel.
It was free, expressive and experimental.

There were no guidelines to follow, no structure, you fed off your own imagination and motivation.
Wunderland - Winter Wonderland, where christmas is starting to loose its sparkle and is rapidly fading into a stark white nothingness.
Expressive and emotive piece based on my longing for family festivities!

:Fashion and Textiles-BAIT.

I hated every single second of it.
"What would you do if you had another 2 weeks of Fashion and Textiles?"
"Probably kill myself."
Anyway these were my two outcomes...
Amongst a beautiful array of garments, i was somewhat ashamed of my efforts..or the lack of !!!

:Lens Based

A busy week of mess and debauchery.
I loved Lens based.
Animation was surprisingly easy and inspiring, a quick easy way to develope and refine ideas.
I wouldnt exactly choose this as my pathway, but, I definitely enjoyed it.
I liked the freedom, the raw messy marks, a quick documentation, a way to tell a narrative.
All in all a bloody successful week!

The Book Project!

The first of my carousel.
The week itself was very experimental, I loved the freedom we had to roam any subject we desired.
The only rules, to create something out of a book or a book to be the inspiration.
I started looking at Tom Phillips and how we manipulates books to tell a story.
I love the way he makes extroadinary things out of the extroadinary.
Its expressive, innovative.
I wanted a series of books. One i would of drawn into myself, the other made to contain something and the other to link the two together.
My theme-Life Cycles.
A study of life and death, the process of gradual decay.
Personally I wasnt very happy with two of my books.
The one book i did find had worked was the Encyclopedia which held a birds skull.
